teinte de couleurs manouches, hispanisantes, afro
jazz avec ça et là quelques touches de musique
orientale et des Balkans.
Le tout nouvel album « Les Ondes vagabondes »
célèbre leurs 20 ans de passion musicale, un
voyage musical inédit qui fait la part belle aux
guitares de Cyril Salvagnac et de Renaud Richermo,
avec le soutien inspiré de Fabrice Camboulive à
la contrebasse et de Laurent Meyer à la batterie
et aux percussions.

Le Duo Ellin est né en 2011 de la rencontre entre
la chanteuse Eloïse CHADOURNE et le pianiste
Xavier GAINCHE. Ensemble, ils explorent
l’univers du jazz vocal en interprétant des
standards de Gershwin puis d’autres compositeurs
américains comme Cole Porter ou Richard Rodgers.
Le point commun de tout ce répertoire : la grande
Ella Fitzgerald. Cette immense artiste, qui a
traversé l’Histoire du Jazz, a visité et
revisité les plus grands standards par des
interprétations tant expressives qu’intimes.
C’est en hommage à The First Lady of Song
qu’Eloïse et Xavier ont créé le spectacle :
Songs from Ella.
Aujourd’hui, Le Duo Ellin propose un programme
riche et sophistiqué qui marie habilement
tradition et adaptation personnelle, créant ainsi
un univers aux influences Old School tout en y
instillant des nuances plus modernes.
